MACBETH presented by The Rude Mechanicals

MACBETH presented by The Rude Mechanicals

Shakespeare, Play, Drama
"Something wicked this way comes...." The Rude Mechanicals proudly present MACBETH October 26, 27, 28 and November 2, 3, and 4 at The Uptown Theatre. Tickets on sale October 1 at rmtheatre.org and the Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music. Performances are at 7 PM, with 2 PM matinees on October 28 and November 4. ****** On a barren heath, three sisters tell the great and bloodied Macbeth that he is fated to be King of Scotland. And so begins a terrifying series of events that lead to the murder of Kings, friends, mothers and their children. Macbeth and his Lady fall prey to a soul-corroding guilt as they desperately try and cling to the defiled crown. ****** Suitability suggestions: This story of war and horrific choices resulting in tragic consequences may be most enjoyed by audience members ages 13 and up. This production will include stage violence and intense dramatic moments that may be overwhelming for younger audience members. A “Backstage Pass” pre-show event is available before each performance to discuss themes and elements of the play, and to answer any questions audience members may have. (Backstage Pass tickets are $10 and will be available at all ticket outlets.) For more information, please e-mail Artistic Director Ellicia Elliott at ellicia@rmtheatre.org
