As folk as any alternative musician and as alternative as any folk artist, singer/songwriter Gregory Rawlins is tougher to pin down than a feral cat. Rawlins has been exploring what it is to make a song since 2003, the year he learned his first guitar chords and promptly moved to Seattle with pal Mike Surber to start what would become Sons of Guns— one of the most poetic and powerful bands to emerge from the Emerald City in a decade.
