Market at The Parkway - Richland Farmers' Market

The Market at The Parkway (Richland Farmer's Market) opens this Friday June 5th at Lee Blvd and The Parkway. Hours are from 9 AM till 1 PM each Friday from now through at least October 16th. Providing entertainment for the opening session from 10:00 AM till Noon are Mary Lou Gnozo and Steve Haberman. Entertainment has been scheduled for all 21 Fridays through-out the season.

While most crops are about a week behind because of the cool spring, our recent hot weather is closing that gap fast and the first market session should be very satisfying to market goers. Local cherries are still about a week or 2 away but asparagus, peas, onions, lettuce, etc, etc should be available for sale. Beef, lamb, seafood, and fresh farm eggs will be at the market. Fresh baked breads and deserts will all be available. Plants, flowers, honey and special items such as emu oil, grape seed oil salad dressings,and other specialty items will be for sale. A number of local, talented artisan products will also be featured.
