The Columbia Basin Chapter of ARMA International hosts a presentation by Leslie Malek of the National Archives & Records Administration (NARA), "Just When You Thought it was Safe," in Richland. For info and reservations e-mail BPeters@gcpud.org.
Malek's program will focus on what a records professional needs to know about technology to implement records management processes and procedures for the 21st Century.
Malek has 30 years of experience with Federal records and is a Senior Records Analyst with the Pacific Alaska Region of NARA in Seattle.
The meeting will be at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center (formerly the Tower Inn), 1515 Geo. Washington Way, Richland, on September 18th. Social time will begin at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 6:15 pm. The program will begin at 7:00 pm. The dinner costs $20.00 for ARMA members and $22.00 for non-members. Reservations are required.
