Flowers for Algernon is a play based on the book by Daniel Keys. Is told as a series of "Progress Reports" written by Charlie Gordon, a thirty-two-year-old man with an IQ of 68. Charlie has volunteered to be the subject of an experimental surgical procedure which would more than triple his IQ. The play tells the story of his life and experiences as a result of participating in the procedure.
