Our group of five plus toddler, had no problems getting seated upstairs (~7pm Saturday), our server was pleasant, at first, then didn’t even attend to us! The second upstairs server basically helped everyone while the first gabbed in the corner, without bringing a missed table setting. The drink order was taken within 15minutes After ~30+ minutes salads (if you call them that) and starters were served. Another 25+ minutes after our starters were removed, we finally had to stop the server (not ours) to see about our meals. Ten minutes later (after seating another party) our server finally advised us one of our meals was unavailable. They had not yet started the rest of the meals and did not seam apologetic for the delay nor expressed any thought about resolving the matter (took another ten minutes for the drink bill!). After an hour-and-a half, we left disappointed and hungry. Why did it take over 30 minutes after the starters were served before they decided to inform us about the entrée issue? I never write reviews but this was just an inexcusable evening.

I liked Bella Italia in their previous location very much, but in their new venue the food and service was terrible. I took friends visiting from Seattle, thinking I was going to show off a Tri-Cities gem and was horribly embarrassed and disappointed. We were not seated until 40 minutes after our reservation, were upstairs in a tiny, undecorated space (that probably doesn't meet code for exits & fire protection), did not have our order taken for another 30 minutes and took almost an hour from then for food to arrive. Did I mention that we almost had to beg for silverware and table linens? When it did arrive, the food was terrible... fish chowder was thin, tasted off & rewarded the one in our party that ate it with the runs; the pastas were overcooked and sauces were runny and unseasoned, almost like unseasoned crushed tomatoes out of a can. Usually I will give a place the benefit of the doubt on an off night, but this was so profoundly disappointing on every dimension of the dining experience that I will not go back again.

Went here for the first time for a special occasion and fell in love with the food. For the price the atmosphere was not the greatest. Beautiful setting but you feel you are not in a quiet place to eat. It was a little strange to make reservations and find you are in the middle of a traffic area. It would have been nice to be seated in a quiet corner. Food was wonderful and large portions.
