Did you know there are vaccines that can prevent some types of cancer? The FDA has approved two
vaccines for the prevention of cervical cancer caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). This vaccination
may also prevent some other cancers and is now recommended for both males and females age 9 to 26
years old.
