Contra dancing is an evening spent in a room full of people having fun, dancing with each other to live music. If you can walk, you can contra dance. A caller, working with a group of live musicians, guides new and experienced dancers alike through a variety of dances. The caller teaches each dance before it is actually done to music, and then calls the dance while the music plays. Easy for all, and lots of fun! Dance off that holiday meal!
