A Student on the Columbia River: Sacagawea in the Pacific Northwest
A presentation by Robert Carriker
Thursday, November 19
7 p.m., Mid-Columbia Library-Kennewick
Hosted by East Benton County Historical Society

Sacagawea, the only female member of the Corps of Discovery, was a teenager in the fall of 1805 when she arrived in the Pacific Northwest. Her entire time with the Lewis and Clark Expedition was a tutorial, but her time on the Columbia River was exceptionally educational.
